Victorian fire surround (AWS-1508) a Victorian fire surround in solid walnut with moulded cabriole legs terminating in carved capitals with a central bracketed shelf to the frieze. Dating from around 1900 its been hand stripped of its many years of paint to reveal a mid walnut colour and then wax polished to give it a warm hue that really enhances the natural figuring in the wood. It measures 60’’wide x 49’’ high with a fire opening 36.5’’ wide x 36’5 high. It’s priced at £950.00
